Born and raised in Venezuela, food and beverage have always played a big role in Hendrik’s life. Upon moving to New York City, he attended drama school at NYU Tisch until 2019. While in school, he took his first steps in the industry by becoming a server at Bareburger. Then, two years later, during his senior year, he joined Loring Place as a host. During the pandemic, once LP reopened to the public, he rejoined the team full-time and since then, was also part of the opening team at Penny Bridge firmly finding a home away from home in Hardscrabble Hospitality Group. He eventually joined the Loring Place management team to continue expanding both his professional and personal growth.
